Aberdares

This reserve allows you to have a view of the Aberdare ranges. It has numerous wildlife species. It is in the Aberdare that one has the possibility of sighting the rare Bongo antelope, rarely seen in other parts of Kenya.

Amboseli National Park

It is located on the southern border of Kenya. It is famous as it has the largest population of elephants in Kenya, and the magnificent view of the peak of the highest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro. It has variety of wildlife species and has wonderful sceneries.

Lake Baringo

This is one of the lakes found on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. It is around 280km from Nairobi. The lake has numerous bird species and other wildlife. The reserve is full of different activities like fishing, boat rides, bird watching , game watching excursion to other neighborhood lakes; Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita and even has a tribe living on the island called Njemps, who are a tourist attraction as they have reserved their culture .There is a national museum at Kampi Samaki.

Lake Bogoria

It is on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. This is an alkaline lake, tinted jade although the shallow waters are often blanketed with a broad band of pink as thousands of flamingoes gather to feed on algae. It has large variety of birds and animals. It has some of the volcanic activities such as geysers and hot springs.

Lake Elementaita

It is one of the Great Rift Valley lakes. Has numerous species of birdlife and antelopes. It is next to Kariandusi geonomite where remains of the early man, Australopithecus were found.

LAKE NAIVASHA

Lake Naivasha is located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, and it serves as a transit point for Lake Nakuru, Lake Baringo and Mara National Reserve. It is renowned for its beautiful scenery and numerous, rare bird species which are regularly sighted and other wildlife. It has a golf club in one of the spacious hotel, the Rift Valley Lodge and Golf resort overlooking Lake Naivasha. While in Lake Naivasha one has the opportunity to visit Hells Gate Park famous for its wonderful sceneries, a chance to hike Mt. Longonot (extinct volcano) or visiting the Crater Lake with its emerald green colored water.

Lake Nakuru National Park

One of the great lakes in the Rift Valley. The lake is one of the world’s greatest ornithological spectacles with over 450 species of birds and its also game sanctuary to the endangered Black rhino. It has a spectacular display of its famous flamingo resident, where you can see the flamingoes and also the Big Five.

LAKE VICTORIA

The majestic Maasai Mara National Reserve

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the famous and richest reserves. It has numerous wildlife  species from birds to animals. It is also known for its annually migration of the wildebeests which is seasonal. This is where you have the possibility of sighting all the ‘Big Five’ and abundant game.

LAKE MAGADI

One of the prehistorical sights in Kenya. It is magnificent of its weather and abundant of salt in its lake and bird life.

Meru National Park

Meru national Park is renowned for its association with Joy Adamson.Of all Kenyan Parks, Meru offers  the highest variety of landscape and habitat. It has two main areas i.e. North of RonjoWero River which is a hilly and densely forested area; and south of RonjoWero River which is dry and spacely vegetated area. It is bisected by 13 rivers and numerous streams.

MOUNT ELGON National Park

SAIWA SWAMP

The park covers 1.6 square Kilometers.It is the smallest park in the country and it is the home of the sitatunga antelope .this national park is about 24km from Kitale in TransNzoia district.

SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

This reserve offers unique experience because of its wilderness and the rare species of animals found in it. It gives a chance to sight the Grevys Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe and the Somali ostrich, which are rare in other parts of Kenya.

Shaba GAME RESERVE

It is located near the Samburu reserve and gives a chance to tour both the parks at a time. the reserve was made famous of the Joy Adamson who raised Elsa the lioness. It is also known as ‘Born Free Country’

SHIMBA HILLS RESERVE

The only reserve found on the coastal Kenya. It is the last remaining habitat of the sable antelope in East Africa. Other animals are elephants, colobus monkeys, buffalo, giraffe and many more. On clear day one can see the Usambara Mountains in Tanzania.
