GBS 010 11 nights TSAVO-Amboseli- Aberdares-Shaba Treetops-Rift Valley-Maasai Mara

Nairobi-Tsavo West-Amboseli-Aberdares-Shaba-Treetops-Lake Nakuru-Maasai Mara

• Day 1- Nairobi
  Met and transfer to Norfolk hotel, day at leisure. Overnight Norfolk hotel on bed and breakfast.
  
  
• Day 2 - Tsavo west
  After breakfast drive southwards Nairobi along the Mombasa Nairobi road to Tsavo national park famous for its unique sceneries; the Mzima springs, Shaitani lava flow, its landscapes and its numerous bird species. Arrive for lunch at the Finchhattons camp. Afternoon game drive to view more in Tsavo. Dinner and overnight Finchhattons camp on full board basis.
  
  
• Day 3 - Amboseli
  After breakfast, drive via the Shaitani lava flow to Amboseli national park famous for its herds of elephant and the view of the highest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight Amboseli Serena on full board
  
  
• Day 4-Amboseli
  Breakfast at the lodge. Morning and afternoon game drives to explore more of the park. Break for lunch at the lodge. Dinner and overnight Amboseli Serena on full board
  
  
• Day 5- Aberdare
  After breakfast drive back to Nairobi for lunch at Norfolk hotel. After lunch drive along the slopes of Aberdares to Aberdare country club. Transfer to ark on lodge’s own transport (please carry only light bags, extra are kept at the club). Game viewing from the lodge’s balconies overlooking the waterholes. Dinner and overnight the Ark.
  
  
• Day 6- Shaba
  After breakfast at the ark, transfer to the Aberdare country club on the lodge’s own transport (collect any luggage stored in the club). Depart to Shaba national park unique for its wilderness and its wildlife; arrive for lunch at Sarova Shaba lodge. Afternoon game drive with the possibility of sighting the Grevys zebra, reticulated giraffe and the Somali ostrich. Dinner and overnight Sarova Shaba lodge- full board.
  
  
• Day 7- Shaba
  Breakfast at the lodge. Early morning and afternoon game drives to explore the born free country, the reserve made famous by Joy Adamson who raised Elsa the lioness. Dinner and overnight Sarova Shaba lodge
  
  
• Day 8 – Sweetwaters
  After breakfast, drive along the highlands to the Sweetwaters game sanctuary, a private game reserve that is the only place in Kenya where you can sight the chimpanzees. Lunch at the Sweetwaters tented camp. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters tented camp- full board.
  
  
• Day 9- Rift Valley
  After breakfast, drive to the Rift Valleys to view one of its great lakes, the lake Nakuru national park. Arrive for lunch at Lake Nakuru lodge. Afternoon game drive with a view of the lake to sight different bird species, flamingoes and other wildlife like water bucks and rhinos. Dinner and overnight Lake Nakuru lodge - full board.
  
  
• Day 10-Masai Mara
  After breakfast, drive along the valleys to Masai Mara national reserve to arrive for lunch at Mara explorer. Afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight Mara explorer- full board
  
  
• Day 11- Masai Mara
  Breakfast at the lodge. Morning balloon safaris (extra cost), a chance to enjoy the aerial view of the wildlife in Mara. Afternoon game drive or at leisure. Dinner an overnight at Mara explorer - full board
  
  
• Day 12- RETURN
  After breakfast depart for Nairobi to arrive on time for your return flight. Or proceed to Kenyan coastal beaches or to Zanzibar.
