A unique village in the forest

Village Shasha Camp signifies the Taita tribe's Shasha tree which was seen as a shrine.Shasha has a long history counting to great people like missionary Dr. Edwig Kraph,whose descendants built old Shasha, and country musician Kenny Rodgers shooting off the movie the "Young Hindies" at the site.

Location


Village Shasha camp is only 2 hours drive from Mombasa and 4 hours drive from Nairobi.It is also 12 kilometeres from Voitown on the banks of Voi River.

The village has easy access to both game reserves in Tsavo, namely Tsavo East and Tsavo West national Parks.Tsavo is one of Kenya's oldest and largest natioal parks .It offers tremendous views with diverse habitats ranging from mountains, rivers, forests, plains lakes and grasslands
