Public transportation is easy to access and
certainly not expensive. Bus services are available to every
main town in the country. For short distances, "matatus"
are also an option. These mini vans travel at high speed and
are always overcrowded.
There is only one passenger train which goes
from Nairobi to Mombasa. It is a wonderful experience since
the train is still in colonial style. The train normally departs
in the evening at 7:00pm, from Nairobi and Mombasa. Enjoy
your dinner in the dining wagon. In the morning by daylight
you can still see the last glimpse of the game in the Tsavo
National Park that you have crossed during the night.( Public
bus and train can also be booked by us on your behalf)
